Selectable watchlist

How it works

Public-source monitoring with client-specific relevance.

Each client can choose the utilities, industries, docket types, and priority levels they want included. The daily email stays concise, while the archive keeps the full pull available for later review.

1

Monitor official PUC sources

The bot checks the PUC website, public notices, news releases, announcements, and CDMS access points. If a source cannot be confirmed, the report says so plainly.

2

Filter by client watchlist

Watchlists can include the Daily Activity Report, electric, gas, telecom, water, wastewater, water carrier, motor carrier, tariff, application, hearing, order, or individual docket-number filters.

3

Email summarized links

Items are summarized in three sentences or fewer, ranked by importance, and linked back to the official PUC source for verification.

Archive

We keep the text, metadata, and source links so the record stays searchable.

The working database stores the fields we can verify from public sources. Official PDFs and source documents remain linked to the PUC record instead of being duplicated as bulky files unless a client specifically needs local document retention.

Stored locally

  • Source, date, docket number, title, party, document type, and utility when available.
  • Plain-text page excerpts and AI-assisted summaries for quick lookup.
  • Dedupe keys and report history so the same item is not emailed repeatedly.

Linked officially

  • Direct links to PUC public notices, announcements, orders, and CDMS records.
  • PDFs and source documents remain authoritative on the PUC website.
  • Storage can expand at Vultr if clients later want local copies of larger records.

Live Data

Latest archived PUC pulls and summary compression.

These are the latest records in the working archive. The compression value compares stored source text length with the summary length, while source links continue to point back to official public records.
